Emanuele Giorgetti trained between the Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti and the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi, graduating in Theatre Directing with a thesis on Hamlet as staged by Thomas Ostermeier. He has collaborated with and attended training programs led by Motus, Fanny & Alexander, Elio De Capitani and Ferdinando Bruni. In 2019 he debuted at the Teatro Out Off with Against Progress by Esteve Soler. With WU (2021), THE NEW BALLAD (2022) and AGAMEMNON (2024), he was selected by Ricci/Forte for the Biennale College Teatro call for directors under 35. He attended dramaturgy workshops with Monica Capuani and Daria Deflorian, and further developed his writing practice with Liv Ferracchiati. Together with Eliana Rotella, he co-wrote RIZOMI, finalist at the Premio Carlo Annoni 2022 and winner of the Audience Award at the Stücke-Fest. In 2023, CONTRONATURA, co-written with Sara Setti, Ivo Randaccio and Edoardo Rivoira, received recognition at the Premio Carlo Annoni, Premio Omissis and Premio Testinscena, and premiered at the Teatro Out Off in 2025.
