Lista Cortoni

Francesco Cortoni is a director, cultural operator and artistic director. Since 2013 he has directed the Nuovo Teatro delle Commedie in Livorno and has led the artistic and production path of the Pilar Ternera Association, with particular attention to new dramaturgy, younger generations and research processes. He is one of the promoters of the Little Bit Festival and numerous production, residency and artistic accompaniment projects. Since 2026 he has been director of the Fondazione Sipario Toscana – La Città del Teatro di Cascina, where he develops a project oriented towards generational change, contemporary production and the construction of new relationships between artists and territories. I chose five very different proposals, favoring artists and groups with a research that is already recognizable but still in an important phase of growth and consolidation. I was interested in pointing out paths capable of developing personal languages, with a strong focus on scenic writing and the relationship with the present.
