La Rinascita is a multi-awarded dance theatre company founded in 2022 by choreographers and performers Carlos Aller (Spain) and Cecilia Bartolino (Italy). Their work bridges dance and theatre through a distinctive blend of physicality, humor, and social awareness. Each performance explores human connection and collective experience, bringing socio - political themes to life with heart, playfulness, and vitality. Their repertoire - currently composed of five internationally touring works - moves fluidly between theatre stages, public spaces, site specific and galleries, engaging audiences of all generations. The duo’s creations combine contemporary and urban dance languages to craft emotionally resonant and visually dynamic performances. Beyond their stage work, Carlos and Cecilia lead workshops, classes, and commissions for educational institutions and companies, sharing their collaborative and inclusive artistic approach across diverse contexts and communities. Individually, they bring extensive international experience to their creative partnership. Carlos has collaborated with Akram Khan Company, Fernando Melo, and previously co-founded Frantics Dance Company. Cecilia trained at Iwanson International in Munich, danced with Kibbutz Dance Company, and worked with renowned choreographers including Romeo Castellucci and Wang Ramirez.
