Opening the field to listening to deep resonances between the everyday and the past, between the material world and a purely perceptive dimension, Aris9de Rontini dialogues with the legacy of Pier Paolo Pasolini. The perspective of this solo sheds light on the body as a site of transforma9on and imaginative visions. "The disappearance of fireflies," evoked by Pasolini in his 1975 article, is an image that sustains the creative process "from within." Without appearing metaphorically in the body that comes to the viewers' attention, the Pasolinian firefly represents first and foremost a poetic posture. Illuminated by a light that refracts all the forms of presence that Aristide Rontini's body is capable of embodying, there is no limit to the gaze of the beholder. Dance is the bearer of a diversity that is no longer just hoped for, promoted, celebrated and described, but fully experienced. Between inner and outer experience between vécu and ressenti the body exposes itself and dances, placing itself outside of an unambiguous reading.
