Viola and Lucy The Little Star is the story of a journey and the birth of a friendship.



Viola is a little girl who has arrived from a very distant planet, very different from ours, called Cleo. On Cleo everything works in strange ways: the air is

wet and the water is dry, people are born very tall and get smaller as they grow up, they eat cake before pasta and there are no cars.

The children of Cleo love stories as much as those of the earth, but it is they are the ones telling tales to the adults before going to sleep. These

‘alien’ fairy tales, in a play of opposites that amuses and fascinates the audience, subvert some classics. Little Green Riding Hood eats a whole wolf, the Awake Ugly invites the witch to her birthday party in oder to undo the curse that keeps her from sleeping, and the Sorceress of the Abyss teaches the Little Mermaid British Sign Language.



Viola is cheerful and curious and has come to earth to carry out a task given by her teacher: discover how the children of our planet live. She will be helped by a charming dancing star: the Liucy The LittleStar! With her dancing, which we have decided to keep choreographically complex and of a high standard, Lucetta underlines the details of the music

creating an atmosphere of magic that captures the attention of audiences of all ages. However, Lucetta will not be able to answer all of Viola's questions on her own (what do you write with a pen? Why do people have names? Who tells stories? Why is the snow cold?) and will need the assistance of all the kids in the audience!
