A schizophrenic piece in three acts.
On one hand we have common ways to think, develop and research; on the other hand we are very different, but somehow complementary to each other.
Two solos (con)fusing themselves in a duet.
Structures, patterns, repetitions, difficult things, tiring things, things that we don't like so much, free material, survival strategies, exhaustion, confusion, states of mind and our common southern Italian origins in a nordified version.
How can we bring together two solos that are so personally linked to our individualities? How much do they really have in common? What will happen if they meet? How can they reinforce eacht other?

Alessandro Sollima started dancing Funk-HipHop in the teenage years in Catania, his home town, before He started training in Contemporary dance.
In the past years he has been part of different kinds of professional trainings:
between 2009 and 2011 Alessandro is part of “Modem Studio Atelier”, young collective of Compagnia Zappalà Danza in Catania, directed by Roberto Zappalà and company members.
In the summer of 2010 he takes part of the formation project “Movimenti Urbani” in Palermo, directed and choreographed by Giovanna Velardi. Consequently Alessandro starts collaborating with Simona Miraglia in the on going project “Il II SESSO”, winner of different award and presented in different venues around Italy. Together they founded 'Sicily Made Collective'.
In 2011 he joins Motomimetico, choreographed by Emma Scialfa. Then the same year he moves in Leeds (UK) to study in Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
In 2012 he joins the 3rd year in the professional program in SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) in Salzburg (AT).
After graduating in 2014, He worked with Simone Forti during 3 months. Currently he is part of Milan Tomasik & Co. touring 'Hunting Season' (2014) and working on the new production ‘Silver Blue’ premiering at the end of 2015.
He is also choreographer and performer of “Ad Libitum Project”(2014), an improvisation-based series of solos, and “NORDIFIED”(2015), a duet created in collaboration with Maria Teresa Tanzarella.
